Tess, my Brittany Spaniel, is my constant companion in the studio and is always ready to let me know how much she loves my paintings.

I have grouped paintings and prints here by theme and/or location. Many of these works are also available as 13x19” giclee prints, and some are also available as cards.

Santa Fe and the Southwest

Canel and the Dordogne

In June, 2017, I spent three weeks in Southern France, painting, touring, and soaking up the ambiance of the French countryside. During my first week, I took a workshop with Vermont watercolorist, Robert O’Brien. We spent an idyllic week at Canel, a restored bastide house in the Lot valley near Tournon, painting en plein air every day. I loved the patterns of the fields, the ancient stone buildings, and the rugged landscape. Following the workshop, I took two more weeks to explore the Dordogne region, as well as the Tarn valley, painting and photographing as I went.

Digital Prints

Photography and digital printmaking has long been my “other” medium, besides watercolor and pastel. I love to make pictures and then to alter them digitally to offer a different view. Plants are a favorite subject, as are beautiful landscapes. I print these in a variety of sizes and on several different papers. Currently, I am working in a 13 x 19” format printing on Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. A number of these are also available as cards, for $4.50 each, 5 for $20.
